Microsoft Bing is expected to fully power the Yahoo search globally in all languages by 2012 and till then there is no change in submission of the websites for Yahoo search results. Webmasters have been advised by Yahoo to continue submission of the websites using Yahoo! Site Explorer. Along with this all the developers & webmasters should make themselves familiarize with the Bing webmaster center tool.
For coming in both the search results webmasters should submit websites in both yahoo site explorer and Bing webmaster center tool. This way when Microsoft will fully power the Yahoo! Search back-end globally, and will announce the submission of the the websites in Bing webmaster tool only your website will be listed in that already. If and when there will be a change Yahoo will make an announcement in its blog. Yahoo has quoted in its developer blog
“When Microsoft fully powers the Yahoo! Search back-end globally, expected in 2012, it will be important for webmasters to use Bing Webmaster Center as well. The Bing tool will manage site, webpage and feed submissions. Yahoo! Site Explorer will shift to focus on new features for webmasters that provide richer analysis of the organic search traffic you get from the Yahoo! network and our partner sites.”
Yahoo will continue to offer BOSS (Build your own search service ) program.
