There are many instances where webmaster are interested to block URLs of their own websites. The reasons may be varied but the end results is supposed to be the same. Block URLs that are appearing in major search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo.
We have decided to lay down the foundation of initial methods of Blocking URLs in Google, Bing and Yahoo.
The first criteria is to get your website verified in Google Webmasters as well as Bing Webmasters. Then you have some very simple ways to block URLs through the respective webmaster account.
Google URL remover:
Go to this URL once you have logged in from your Google Webmasters account – https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals
Raise a request for removing the by simply copying the URL into the window and submitting the same. You can come back and check you request later to see if they have been processed.
Bing URL removal:
Clicking on either option will give you an option to block a page, directory (folder) or the whole website.
All you need to do is give your URL and the work will be done by them.
Yahoo URL remover:
